How We Work
Our program provides mental health treatment for people with the dual diagnosis of intellectual disabilities and mental illness by helping them cope with everyday concerns and long-standing problems. We do this by helping the individual look at his or her thoughts, feelings and behaviors in a supportive environment in order to help the person improve coping skills and reach their goals as they maintain meaningful lives within their communities.
A Collaborative Effort
The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services; the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Services Board of Montgomery County; and the Wright State University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry collaborate to provide quality supports and services to consumers and their families.
