The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services will offer free training to help providers better recognize what constitutes a Major Unusual Incident and the timelines required for effective reporting within each category, as required in Appendix A, B and C classifications. Board representatives will also discuss the Unusual Incident reporting process as well, and how data can be used to prevent reoccurrence through analysis and identification of trends and patterns.
Two training sessions will be held, and providers are encouraged to register for one or the other:
The training will be held at the Madison Lakes Conference Center, 581 Olive Road, Dayton, 45417. Due to the limited space available, registration is required. The deadline for first session registration registration is Monday, August 28 by 1 p.m., and Tuesday, September 26 at 1 p.m. for the second session.
To register, please contact Donna Shampton at 937-457-2823 or via email.
