Overview

The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services (MCBDDS) is the first County Board of DD in the 88 counties in Ohio to provide specialized Mental Health services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide mental health services that are sensitive to the unique needs of individuals deemed eligible to receive County Board services.

Partnership

The development of our program was a collaborative effort between

  • the Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services,
  • the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Services Board of Montgomery County, and
  • the Wright State University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry.

Staff

Mental Health services are provided by licensed social workers and counselors. Our therapists are mobile and able to meet with individuals where they feel most comfortable.
