The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services continues to monitor the COVID-19 transmission level on a weekly basis, as well as recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Public Health-Dayton & Montgomery County. Our protocols are based on the level of transmission.
Meetings and mask wearing
When COVID transmission levels are "high" in Montgomery County, our staff are required to wear masks when delivering services indoors AND outdoors.
When COVID transmission levels are at "medium" in Montgomery County, staff are required to wear masks when delivering services while indoors. When outdoor services are provided, a mask is no longer required. However, if an individual or their family member our guardian prefer staff to wear masks during all interactions, they will do so. We also encourage social distancing for all in-person meetings.
Pandemic Resource Center
Our Pandemic Resource Center at our Northview Center is open Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. by appointment to persons served, their families and providers. We can currently provide masks, gloves, disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer. To access these supplies, please contact help@mcbdds.org or call 937-457-2808.
