[ARCHIVED] Day Services Programs: Status Updates

Day Service Provider Closures

Numerous day services providers that serve individuals with developmental disabilities in Montgomery County are closed due to Coronavirus/COVID-19 concerns.  As of Monday, April 13, these include:

  • A Loving Heart Day Services, 3559 Stanford Place, Dayton
  • Better Living at Kuntz, 1507 Kuntz Road, Dayton
  • Boundless Day Services Program, 700 Liberty Lane, West Carrollton
  • Capabilities Community Clubs, 1343 Woodman Drive, Dayton
  • Choices Fun Fit - all locations
  • EchoingU, 370 West First Street, Dayton
  • Echoing Connections - 3400 Stop Eight Road, Dayton
  • Empowered Community Services - 500 Union Blvd, Englewood
  • Flow Dry
  • Good Samaritan Homes, 3690 Dayton Park Drive, Dayton
  • Goodwill EasterSeals Miami Valley, 660 S Main Street, Dayton
  • Graceworks Day Program downtown
  • LCD Day Program, 2022 S Alex Road, West Carrollton

Programs that Have Resumed Limited Operations

  • United Rehabilitation Services, 4710 Troy Pike, Dayton:  Resuming day programming services and outpatient therapies for clients and families effective Monday, April 13. Services will be offered for groups of up to 8 individuals from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will include URS transportation. URS is also offering in-home Homemaker Personal Care (HPC) services. In addition, URS has obtained a Pandemic Child Care temporary license which will allow them to begin day programming services to groups of 6 or fewer children and their families effective Monday, April 13.  The parents of the children will all be from the approved list of “essential” jobs as defined by Governor Mike DeWine. URS Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapists will contact their patients Monday, April 13, 2020 to schedule online telehealth therapy appointments using ZOOM software.
