[ARCHIVED] Join us in a solar eclipse glasses recycling project

Astronomers Without Borders (AWB) collects used solar eclipse glasses and distributes them to people in less fortunate countries who will have eclipse viewing opportunities in the future. This not only helps others but keeps glasses out of landfills. Visit their website, Astronomers Without Borders for more information.    

MCBDDS has volunteered to serve as a collection point for these glasses. If you would like to participate, please bring your glasses Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to our Northview Center at 8114 N. Main St., Dayton, 45415, or Southview Center, 25 Thorpe Dr., Dayton, 45420.
