The Ohio State University Nisonger Center is seeking volunteers for a research study on the health of adults with intellectual disabilities. Study participants will take part in two interviews that will last between two and four hours each. The Nisonger Center is offering $75 in gift cards for study participants as as well as support staff.
What will the study involve?
- The individual and their support person will answer questions about the individual’s health in two interviews.
- The interviews can be completed from the safety of home (online, by phone, and/or in-person).
How long will it take?
- 2-4 hours per interview.
- For the first interview, you and your support person will each earn a $25 gift card
- For the second interview, you and your support person will each earn a $50 gift card.
Who is a support person?
- A family member, friend, or caregiver that knows the adult individual well.
