Did you know MCBDDS will pay up to $1,000 for successful DSP referrals? If you refer a Direct Support Professional and that person works for a year, MCBDDS will pay you up to a maximum of $1,000 over the course of the person's first year of employment. This limited time reward will be paid in $250 increments for each documented three-month period a new candidate works, up to a maximum of $1,000 over the course of the person's first year of employment. These incentives will only be paid to people who refer candidates that become part- or full-time DSPs in residential or day services settings based on the terms outlined above. They do not apply to the recruitment of independent providers. People who recruit more than one DSP will qualify for incentives, paid over time, for each person recruited, provided the person meets the specific terms. To receive the incentive, new DSP recruits must include the name of the person who recruited them on their application at the time of hiring. Providers should report the new hires, along with the name of their recruiter, to MCBDDS Director of Provider Relations Mitch Snyder as soon as the hiring process is complete. As the new hire completes each quarter of work, the provider will need to inform Mitch so MCBDDS can make arrangements for the recruiter to be paid. Questions about this process?
