Marcus McGlynn, a professional musician from the United Kingdom, and Brenda Combs, a doctoral music student at the University of West London, will hold a concert and meet and greet with MCBDDS self-advocates on Tuesday, April 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Northview.
Marcus and Brenda have been leading Zoom music sessions with our self-advocates on a weekly basis since the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, and collaborated with them to create two CDs of original music. They will perform these songs, along with some Top 40 fan favorites. Please encourage the folks you serve to attend. Staff and families are also welcome. Pizza and ice cream will be served; RSVP to Kathy Duffin if you plan to attend.
