Our plan is to show the world that people with disabilities are proud of who they are and what they contribute to their communities. Several self-advocates will speak, along with MCBDDS Superintendent Dr. Pamela Combs. We will have ice cream and water onsite, and the program will take place if the weather permits. Parking is available around the library. Hope to see you there!
Cooper Park is located immediately behind the Dayton Metro Library - Main Library, in the same block. We hope many of you will make time for this important event, which local newspapers and TV stations will likely cover.
The program will be approximately 30 minutes, and several self-advocates will speak, along with a number of local officials. We will have ice cream and water on site for those in attendance. We hope many of you will make time for this important event, which local newspapers and TV stations will likely cover. Please note: The program will only take place if the weather permits. If there is rain, thunder or lightning, we will not move forward.
