MCBDDS's musician friends Marcus McGlynn and Brenda Combs are visiting again from England, and will hold a free concert for people served by MCBDDS at Northview Center on Friday, January 10 from 6 to 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
Since 2020, Marcus and Brenda have collaborated with MCBDDS to provide virtual programming, including "Making Music with Marcus and Brenda," "Concert Fridays," and "Travel Tuesdays." They have also co-written and produced three CDs' worth of songs with MCBDDS self-advocates. They held their first live concert for people served by MCBDDS in April 2023.
