Kamarr has worked for DDS for 28 years in a variety of roles, including 5-plus years as its Assistant Superintendent. A lifelong resident of Dayton, he earned a Master of Management from Antioch University McGregor and a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Wright State University.
Kamarr also earned certificates from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities for Superintendent, Service and Support Administrator Supervisor, and Provider Compliance, and is a certified Level of Care and Waiting List assessor and an Ohio Eligibility Determination Instrument (OEDI) evaluator for adults and children.
Prior to joining the Board, Kamarr worked for the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, Choices in Community Living, RMS of Ohio and the City of Kettering.
