Miami Valley Fair Housing Collaborative is holding an online session Tuesday, April 20, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Topics include updates on Rental-Utilities Program Assistance from Miami Valley Community Action Partnership; Montgomery County’s Rental Assistance Program, and an update on Rental Evictions from Advocates for Basic Legal Equality (ABLE). Also, a panel of speakers on COVID-19 related Barriers and Mitigation Strategies for Immigrant Populations which cover the related areas of housing, transportation, education, and intersections of fair housing to these barriers. SALT-TEENS TALK is a new, interactive 30-minute online series that offers students & young adults (ages 14 – 22) the chance to meet virtually, socialize, & have fun during the COVID-19 pandemic while learning about transition-related topics. Facilitators and students will chat and interact for about 10 minutes before guest speakers begin. To participate & receive meeting link information, contact Andrea Harker at email@example.com.
