Special Forces Dance Class

Mandatory Orientation and Annual Renewal Training (Montgomery Co Madison Lakes)

This class meets the DODD training requirement for both initial provider certification and mandatory annual training for current providers as outlined in the Provider Certification Rule. Any person or agency that provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities must obtain certification from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. Individuals applying for certification must complete eight hours of training in the topics listed: Overview of Serving People with Developmental Disabilities, including implementation of ISP's and Behavior Support strategies; Universal Precautions for infection control; Role and responsibilities of independent provider with regard to services including person-centered planning, community integration, self-determination, self-advocacy, and positive culture; Rights of Individuals; Rule 5123:2-17-02 including MUIs and UIs, and Health and Welfare Alerts issued by DODD (also covers alerts issued within the past 12 months).
