The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services does NOT certify providers. Certification is handled at the state level, through the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD).
To learn more about the qualifications to become a provider, visit DODD's Provider page.
Are you interested in becoming an independent provider or an agency-based provider? You need to determine this, as the regulations differ depending on the type of provider you wish to become.
There are fees associated with becoming a certified provider of services through DODD. Information about these fees can be found in the Independent Provider Information and Agency Provider Information links above.
